Award winning programmes for the British armed forces feature high on the Fougassefilms collective CV. Credits include the seminal “Realities of War” for the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst and “Cold Water Casualty” for the Royal Navy. Two in-service films for the British Army - the prestigious "Law of Armed Conflict" and "Network Enabled Capability" - were both high profile projects. During the VE Day and VJ Day 50th anniversary commemorations Andy post-produced documentaries on Princess Margaret and Prince Phillip for SSVC and the BBC. In 2001 “An Invisible Wound” - dealing with the harrowing fallout from PTSS - post-traumatic stress syndrome - was nominated for Best Documentary at IVCA and won Best Sound and the Premier Award at ETMA (Educational Television & Media Association) awards. "FITZ's LUCK - A Soldiers Story" was Fougasse Films' first television documentary, developed for British Forces Broadcasting Service but later re-versioned for mainstream TV and DVD. In comparison and taking over four years to complete -“ONE OF OUR MINES IS MISSING!” was a huge project. Distributed exclusively for TV by Electric Sky, a shortened version is currently showing on Discovery Channel Europe, TV South Africa, History Channel Canada and The History Channel UK, gaining Pick of the Day in recent TV listings. (You can purchase the full 73 min Director's Cut of the film on DVD either from Amazon, eBay (special offers apply) or direct from this website!) Andy has several other broadcast factual projects in pre-production in addition to two more media reports for the Durand Group and a major DVD project on WW1 for retail. Fougasse Films conceived, designed and produced (with the generous support of Xerox UK) the English language version of the much admired multi-media tunnelling & mining display recently on show at the Canadian Vimy Ridge Interpretive Centre in France. |
